Glenda Pittsford

Glenda began her insurance career in 1972. While attending The University of Texas, she worked part-time for a local independent agent. In 1974, Glenda was the first female to graduate from The University of Texas with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a Degree in Insurance. After a four year tenure with another agency, Glenda joined Sun Belt Insurance Agency, which later merged with Austin Insurance Connection to form the current AIC - Sun Belt Group, Inc. Glenda is a native of Austin with deep orange blood coursing through her veins. She is very active at St. Paul Lutheran Church and has been a member of the school board. She has also served on the board of The Independent Insurance Agents of Austin. Glenda is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Insurance Women, and a supporter of the Alzheimer Association. Glenda is currently on the boards of the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce and the American Lung Association. She specializes in providing the business community personable and effective service.
