After attending The University of Oklahoma, Steve began his insurance career as an agent with AAA of Missouri in 1976. In 1979, he joined Employers Insurance of Wausau as a Commercial Lines Producer in their Kansas City regional office. Six years later, Steve transferred to Austin where he continued to build a growing insurance practice. Then in 1990, he joined Austin Insurance Connection, which later merged with Sun Belt Insurance Agency to form AIC - Sun Belt Group, Inc. Steve has been an active member of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Professional Insurance Agents Association of Austin, Big Brothers and Sisters, and We Care - a service organization devoted to the care of the elderly. Steve specializes in commercial insurance for all types of business.
